Age of Fiction is on Fire
Wielding one connected brain and a palpable energy, Husband and Wife Rock Duo Bryan Csiga (Live Drums) and Holly Csiga (Songwriter, Vocalist, Keyboards/Synth) make up the epic avant- rock band Age of Fiction. Their intense and theatrical swing/metal track "Big Bad" off their concept album "Werewolf" has recently earned 2.9 million streams, and their newest album "We May Be Burning (But At Least We're On Fire)" landed on Bandcamp and streaming sites May 1, 2024. Album 7 is in the works!

Made for Each Other
In 1992, Holly and Bryan met in Alaska, and as they were both the children of multigenerational artists, naturalists and craftsmen they began sharing their exploration and love of art and music together with a serious diligence. Performance rock and improv became the norm in the early 2000's hanging around friends in the indie Seattle Rock scene whilst Holly was touring her solo project "Holly Wyrd" a theatrical psychedelic space/prog-rock glam show. Bryan's longtime love of drumming began to flourish and grow through jams, improvs and eventually alongside Holly's writing and became what it is today. He has been influenced by her work and the work of many bands they both love and his hard hitting jazz style attack of large dramatic movements compliment her every energetic move perfectly. The resulting large atmospheric, dynamic movements, the energetic syncopation, compelling hooks and leads, the beautifully chosen melodies, counter melodies and lyrical presentation are noticeable when AOF is onstage. As parents, they have struggled to survive as living costs soar forcing the family to move out to the country to continue living their passion. They continue to play shows in Seattle, and remain connected to their music community. Since leaving the city in 2021 they have produced six energetic, alluring albums with Seattle indie Producer Hairy Nipple Productions and they are working on new material. Affected by the confusion of this time, they continue to tell their story through music and metaphor, allegory and images as well as striking lyrics cutting at the lies heaped upon the people: "the truth is gonna cut you like an old rope burning, like a new gear turning on the wheel of the world," (It Never Was, from the album True Fiction , 2021). Their latest album, a dark yet bright eclectic album about coping mechanisms titled "We May Be Burning (But At Least We're On Fire)" was released on May 1, 2024 for wide distribution. They are at work on album 7 and aiming to perform and record in 2025.
